I do not know if everyone is familiar with Google's search results display, so i will explain:
Google displays the results of a search by descending order of the most visited site.
This means that the MOST visited site will be displayed first, second most visited displayed second, and so on....

Now if you search for "netbook pro" including the quotes you will get site results with the 2 words positioned exactly as within the quotes.

After this lengthy and maybe useless explanation, here's the point:
The first result for the search query "netbook pro" in google is:
http://www.petitiononline.com/nbookpro/petition.html

THE NETBOOK PRO PETITION...!!!!!

It is the most visited site on the whole www that contains the phrase "netbook pro",it is visited even more than this forum!!!

Just thought i'd point this out, as it amused me and, frankly, gave me more hope.

Onward towards a Symbian NETBOOK PRO!!!(make it ER7 while you're at it...)

A lot of people out there are waiting, even if sometimes it doesn't seem like it...

Ramez,

I'm afraid you misunderstand how Google works. Your result does NOT indicate it
is the most visit site, but rather that it is the most LINKED site (from other
sites).

This isn't very surprising given the amount of effort being put into backing the
petition.

Chris Handley

Thanks a lot for the correction.

Still, being the site the most linked to is IMO a great achievement.
I hope i can be more active in this matter, but my work load and my student credits are enough to keep me busy until tlate at night.(as you can see from the times of my posts).

I do not know how valid this idea is, but if everyone stated what is their professional status and why they have the netBook, it could give a scope of the audience currently using the netBook.

I, to start, am a full-time student with a full-time job, and with large commutes could not function without the netBook, its battery life, and the (really) instant-on capability.

Maybe it is not as helpful to the petition as i would like, but still knowing what the users of the netBook do could prove useful.

Or perhaps i'm just too nosy...:D
