Has anyone had troubles with the compatibilty of the SanDisk 128 MB CF w/ Wi-Fi and their Axim? I am receiving full bars for a signal, but the Wi-Fi is not responding. It acts as if it is not even plugged in.
I've talked to both tech supports at Dell and SD, and each blame the other. Dell suggested that I have SD configure my Wi-Fi (whatever that means). SD claims that the Axim 2002 verision operating system is not compatible. Then why is Dell selling this Wi-Fi unit on their web site?

I've tried a re-install and have downloaded the 2002 drivers from SD.

I have not used the Sandisk WiFi card so it's hard to comment. What exactly is or is not happening? If you are getting a good signal, I am assuming that you are using their software to see the signal.

In Start -> Settings -> Connections, the "connections" icon, bottom setting, is your network card set to "work" or "the internet". If it is set to "work" you can do activesync but no internet access, like e-mail or browsing, unless you have a proxy server on your network. If it is set to "the internet" you can browse and get e-mail from Pocket InBox but you cannot ActiveSync for some bizarre reason that I have never seen adequately explained.

Anyway, if this helped, great, if not, it might be easier to help if you post a few more details of what you are trying to do and what the results are - error messages, etc.

As for Dell selling the card on their site, remember that the X5 has been sold with WM 2003 since July, and they started selling the card after that. That said, I refuse to believe that there is anything about the X5's 2002 implementation that would be any different from any other 2002 implementation, and, if there is, seems like it is Sandisk's responsibility to create drivers that will work.
