Hi,

I've tried both Omniremote and NoviiRemote on my E.

I couldn't get anything at all to happen with Omniremote - it was as if the IR was non-existant. With NoviiRemote, everything worked perfectly - I have a Phillips TV, VCR and DVD and all were accomodated by the supplied databases.

The IR in any PDA will always be much more directional than those on a regular remote control. Having said that, my E is very usable - at least 3 meter range. If anyone has difficulty getting NoviiRemote working on their E, it's probably down to the support for the chosen device - use the learning function!
