Could somebody tell me if the 3link cable for the Psion 3 is the same as the Psion 3a?

Are there any difference between serial link cables of the 3, 3a, 3c and 3mx series?

Could somebody tell me if the 3link cable for the Psion 3 is the same as the Psion 3a?Yes, both the Series 3 and the 3a use the same "3Link" serial cable. This is the device with a 'pod' in the middle containing a ROM chip with the Comms software in.
Are there any difference between serial link cables of the 3, 3a, 3c and 3mx series?The serial port was changed in the 3c from the 6-pin SIBO connector used by the S3 and 3a to the 'Honda' connector which has been used with all Psions (except the Revo) since then. The Comms software was also installed in the 3c's ROM, so there was no longer a need for this to be loaded externally.
