Personally, I would go with the Wireless keyboard because you don't need a physical connection with it, and is compatible with all Palm PDA's using at least PalmOS 4.0. However, the Ultra-Thin Keyboard seems to be more compact and space efficient when you have it packed away. They both work reletively the same.
And about the Palm Portable Keyboard & Tungsten T... there are no compatibility problems between the two. Just make sure you use the updated keyboard driver from the Palm Website instead of the one which comes on the CD provided with the keyboard.

...I ose the Ultra-Thin Keyboard. I like it because it's thin (duh!) amd light but it's sturdy enough to lock open and be used on a lap. I carry it around in my vest pocket (ScottEVest) amd it doesn't even register as a bulky item. No one need know it's even there.
I prefer the physical connectivity between the two devices and opted over the wireless keyboard solutions of the time. To me, nothing beats the connection. With wireless solutions, there's just to much that can interfere the signal between the devices (ambient light at the wrong angles, strobing lights,...) I've had a couple of issues in beaming someone my games once because the strobing lights in the particular video game arcade (gotta love the irony!) interfered with the signal. I had to cover both Palms to shadow them from the lights at Portal One in the San Francisco Metreon.
Now, these issues might not even arise with the way wireless keyboards are set up. But maybe they will, who knows but someone who owns one. Maybe they'll post their experiences here.
One thing I do like about the Universal Connector is that I can use my paripherals with like-connected PDA's. If this were back in the days of my Vx, I'd probably opt for the wireless solution to combat the disparate connectors in case I ever wanted to upgrade.
One thing I've been considering is, if I ever upgrade to the T|3 (or some future PDA that can be used in Landscape mode), I might consider a wireless keyboard that can adapt to the typing-sideways ability of the PDA. That might enhance my typing-on-a-PDA experience.
Enhanced.

Right now the Palm Ultra Thin keyboard has two rebates with it. I am not sure if you can use both of them but one gives you a free case and the other saves you $30.
