M100 Connection to Internet via IR to GPRS Phone

Has anyone connected a Palm M100 (OS 3.5) to a GPRS Phone (I have a Siemens s45) via the IR Port. Do you need any Special Drivers ?

hi though i do not use gprs (use gsm on S35i) i use a IIIc and OS4.1 i'm quite sure there should be a possibility. there already are quite some post about this in URL=http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=2869]a thread in the III-series forum[/URL] if you read the bottom message and still don't get further just post again.

I did manage to get the required info and managed to set up the connection !. Here's the official Palm Site which helped me out!.
(I used method#2 indicated there)

It's working ok, though havent been able to get a decent HTML browser (I use a wap browser);)

I'm also looking for a messaging solution (like ICQ which works on the Palm)

there are plenty of html browsers around for that look in this thread (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=2868) . as far as messengers both ICQ and MSN are available and they both work. just visit http://www.icq.com and http://palmgear.com and look around.
