Hi All,
Have not posted in quite some time. I own a Tungsten T(btw, I feel it's ancient now!!). I have some questions about Voice memo.
I record speeches on my palm a lot thru voice memo. I do have 256 MB SD card also. But the problem is I don't know how to burn this on to CD successfully.

Here is what I did. I converted .wav file from Voicememo to MP3. It became too big (about 2 Hr worth of mp3). So, I could not burn this to my 60-80 min cd-r.

Is there any way, I could either fragment it and burn it to CD or I am open to any suggestions, since I would be doing this a lot.

Thanks in advance

No one yet? Do you think Palm support would be able to help?

thanks

I feel this is more of a data processing issue, rather than a palm issue. You can use any sound modification software on your desktop (such as sound recorder in windows).

When using sound recorder:

1. Open the .wav file

2. Move the slider to the position where you want to cut it off (ie the end of the first cd)

3. Go to edit: delete after current position

4. File: Save As (this is very important that you do save as instead of save; otherwise, you will lose your original data)

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4, but this time use delete before current position

6. Convert your 2 new .wav files to mp3 and burn.

Hope this helps!!

If you don't feel like fragmenting and you have a cd player capable of playing mp3s, you could just burn the cd in data format (mp3) instead of audio format.

I have an mp3 cd player in my car, and I can fit about 10-12 full cds on a disc. This is nice for music too...I can separate the artists into folders and play one 'cd' at a time (or shuffle, etc) and therefore don't need to change discs very often at all.

Just a thought...
