I just bought my wife a Tungsten E and was wondering if the m505, m515 screen overlays are the same size (can't find any "E" covers in the stores yet)?

The "screen" is the same as the Zire 71.
That one just might work.

I purchased overlays for a Zire 71 and they fit perfectly. It IS the same screen. The Zire 71 is the same PDA as this model except for the Palm Uni port and the camera.

Who made the overlay you bought? I got the 'Fellows' brand overlays, and they give the screen a weird 'cross-hatched' look...

Fellows. They look clear to me except when I'm wearing sunglasses. Do you wear glasses that have polarized lenses?

Can you see the 'X' looking lines on this pic?

Screen protectors for color PDA's are clear,
Screen protectors for B&W PDA's are frosted.
Check to see what type you have.

Belkin makes screen protectors for the Tungsten T series, and the screen is the same size. I use one on my E and it looks fine (no cross-hatching), but the adhesive is stronger than that on the Fellowes Write-Rights so you have to be more careful applying the protector--if you pull it back off the screen, you can see stretch marks or clouding of the adhesive. I ruined two before I got one on well enough to leave. (I can usually get a year or so out of a screen protector. Furniture polish every few weeks works wonders.)
