Iīm sure I would buy a DeLL Axim, but I couldnīt decide which model I should take.
I read, that the Direction-Button of the x5 is whobbling around and is not very exact... is that right?
I donīt know, if Iīd need the CompactFlash-Port of the x5... what are the pros? Isnīt a SD-Slot enough?
If you know any pros or cons for the two models, please let me know it!!

Yes, that is true.

There are a lot of technologies that are on CF cards only. If you need a modem, you can find a CF modem. If you need Bluetooth, you can find a BT CF adapter. However, there are a lot of these technologies that are finally coming out in SDIO format. That said, if you use one, you also lose the ability to use external storage. Dual slots can be really convenient if you need them.

Th X5 has been around for a while, and has a very good track record. It is a solid unit with a bigger battery than the X3. It is much larger than the X3, though, and the X3i model has WiFi built in if you need that. The X3 is brand new and there are not all that many sold to tell if there are any unknown issues (like the X5's D-PAD, though I understand that the X3 DPAD is fine).
From what I have read, though, I don't think that you could go wrong with either unit.
