I would like to purchase one of these devices but have to sync it using a serial connection. My computer at work uses Windows NT and doesn't support USB. Our IS Dept. will not change anything to make the computer compatible with USB so I'm stuck with the serial connection as my only option to sync. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can find a cable or a workaround for this issue?

Thanks

How about a serial infrared adapter. The T|E has an option for IR hotsync, and I'm sure you can find an inexpensive serial IR adapter. I've never tried it myself, but it might be worth a shot.

I checked out the possibility of purchasing an infrared adapter. By the time I purchase the hardware and the additional software to make it compatable with NT I was looking at about $100. I decided if I was going to have to spend that much I would just purchase the Tungsten T2, which I'm leaning towards now anyway. I can use the Palm unversal cradle if I get the T2. I really didn't want to spend that much but at this point I don't see any other options.

How about something less than $100? I have no idea if this will work or not, but I thought I'd pass it along.
