I have 2 questions

1) Is there anyway to set it to avoid certain roads? or take certain roads. I can get via to go through a certain road, but then it'll take me back the original road that I wanted to avoid, after passing that road.

2) Is there a way to set it to go to 3 points. Like i'll start off at A make it stop at B, and then go to C?

To my knowledge, and i am sure i will be corrected if wrong, there is no way as yet to make a permanent setting which will avoid or use certain roads.
However there is the "Detour" function which can be used during a journey, if say you came across a road which was closed off for a short time etc. And you can set the distance that the detour takes.
This function is accessed by tapping the routes icon during a journey.
As for the second part of your question, as you have already stated about the "Vias" you can add as many vias (within reason) so you can go from A to B to C

Further to my last post, on thinking about your question a bit more, there is a way to set your unit to avoid certain "TYPES" of road i.e toll / Highways etc, to acess this go to "Map" then tap the 2nd icon from the left at the bottom of the screen, from "options" at the top of the screen select "Preferences" and directly below the word Preferences select "Routing"
On this page you will see a section titled AVOID
