Hi,

I ordered my IPAQ 3955 today. I am switching from a handspring visor deluxe.

I have a number of questions which I am hoping to get answers on.

1) I currently have the DELORME EARTHMATE GPS for my laptop. Anyone use it for the IPAQ? How is it? Do you reccomend a GPS for the IPAQ that is awsome?

2) Should I purchase an SD Card or a sleeve with a compact flash card?

3) I currently have a Linksys WIFI PC card for my laptop. Is it better to get a compact flash WIFI for the pocket PC or just get a PC card sleve and use my existing WIFI card.

I am sure I will have many other questsion but this is it for now!

I have not heard Delorme software is compatible with ipaq!

Acually I thought about upgrading my ipaq 3955 with GPS kit, but it's usefull only at night or dusk. At bright sunlight, it's inconvenient to read from ipaq while you are driving.........

Some day you are going to need the CF Sleeve, for modem or LAN card or WiFi card, so why not that? I bought a SD anyway as I can carry ipaq without the bulky sleeve sometimes.

Hi,

THanks for the reply,

Delorme xmap is compatible witht the ipaq! THe GPS connects to the bottom of the ipaq! Don't know how good it is though. I thout the iPAQ 3900 is easy to read in daylight? Also it give voice commands.

As for the sleve which one do you have? Silver slider any good or is the compaq one the way to go?
