Okay I am fine tuning my X-mas list (the wife is really pushing) and one of the top things on my list is a WiFi card for my Ipaq. Now I have been doing my research and found the following thread to have the most useful information:

However, this thread is a few months old. I will be November soon and I believe there are chances for changes according to that thread.
When it comes to Wifi cards for the OS2003 on Ipaq 2215 where should I be looking? Or let me rephrase that, what is the most reliable and everyone knows it works piece of equipment?

I have had good success with d-link, when used with other d-link products requires no setting changes. Plug and Play.
I use the DCF-660W CF adapter connecting to a DI-614+ Router

This sounds good? Heard of any compatability problems I missed in previous posts?
OR
Should I play it safe and just go with Ambicom WL1100C-CF

I was using the iPAQ 3970 w/ the sleeve & the 802.11b card from D-Link. It worked just fine, but after a while, I started carrying around enough equipment to feel like a Ghostbuster when I left the house.
When the 5455 came out, I got that & it has the WiFi card built in to the unit.
Now the sleeve & card are just a reminder of the old days on the closet shelf.
Be careful of leaving the card in the sleeve while carrying it in your briefcase or backpack. It will get twisted & will not meet the connections when you need it to. Also, if you are using the iPAQ, don't just leave the sleeve on the iPAQ & shove the card in or pull it out "hot-swap" style. The card is not a straight shot in & it will tweak after repeated in's & out's.
Also, if you have a laptop PCMCIA card, you'll notice a significant difference in the range of the unit. It's MUCH greater on the laptop.
I've never tried the adapter that would allow the same card to be used on both. I've always used separate cards.
The range on the 5455 still sucks as well, but it's all together & as soon as it has tri-mode phone, I'm upgrading.
Good luck...mre

If you can afford it I would really recomend buying an ipaq with built in wifi. The added bulk of a wifi adapter is not something you want bangin' around your pocket.
