T-Series Application Question

I want to know if there is a program for the Tungsten T, T2 or T3 that allows me to take digital ink (i.e. handwritten) notes and combine them with text? The ROM application NotePad isnt enough as it doesnt akllow me to combine text with notes. Thanks in advance,

You can write using Digital Ink like notepad, and then you can select the text tool, and using that your can write with the onscreen keyboard or graffiti, if thats what you were asking about.

Its a great program, there are also options for pen size, eometric shapes, and you can even take a screenshot of any application, and then edit it in BugMe! (lke pressing PrintScrn on a PC

Good & bad news. Seiko offers two products that may interest you - the InkLink and SmartPad. Both provide support for handwriting input. The online demo also shows how the captured input can be cut'n'paste to other apps.

Now for the bad news. There is an interoperability problem between the Seiko problems and the newer Palm hardware - Tungsten T series included. I spoke to a Seiko support engineer in Germany and was told it was due to Palm changing the IrDA hardware used. He told me the US was investigating if the problem could be resolved.

I am trying to contact the US Product Mngr for these products and highlight reasons why they need to upgrade their product. Unfortunately the Seiko Sales & Admin contact has not provided me with the name or email address of the Product Mngr yet - I only set the request 1 day ago.

If the Seiko products interest you and you want to assist my cause, please send me a private message so we can chat more. I'm hoping that if Seiko is made aware they are losing sales, they will upgrade their products.
