Everything was going so smoothly until I had to reinstall W2K the other day.
Now, try as I may, I can only get Outlook 2000 to pick up the last couple of days worth of email from my 5mx.
I can see older mail sitting there in the inbox but it won't accept them.
Not picking up all my contacts either.
Running latest 2.3.3 version of PsWin with latest updates.
Any ideas?

Reinstalling Win 2K - did you do a complete reformat and then reinstall Win2K or just a reinstall of Win2K? If it was the latter, you've probably hosed up some registry settings needed by PsiWin. I'd first uninstall PsiWin and then get the registry cleaner from Mike McConnell's web site. Run that to wipe every reference of PsiWin from the registry and reinstall PsiWin. Hopefully, that should fix things. As always, make sure you have complete backup of your data before you try this.

Yeah. It was a complete reformat and reinstall so there should be no hangover.
Having said that, I tried to sync with my office machine this morning and there was a problem there too so the problem could lie with the Psion.
Message I got was Epoc mail server interface failed to initialise.
What do I do?
Thanks in advance,

<<Message I got was Epoc mail server interface failed to initialise.>>
The first thing to try is a soft reset and see if that sets things straight. If not, try breaking up your sync into one section at a time, e.g., one for calendar, one for contacts, etc. That should at least let you see if it's only one sync action that's falling over.

Thanks Jim. Will I lose any data I have stored on the Psion if a I do a soft reset?
nope - as long as you close all open applications before you do it. You'll lose your System display settings, and your auto switch-off time, but that's it.

Just to update. I uninstalled then reinstalled PsWin using the registry cleaner. I tried the soft reset but it didn't work. I tried synching tasks separately but it didn't work (well contacts and agenda did). Then I tried installing the email synch update and it started to synch again.
Trouble is it still won't see anything ealier than October 3?
I think it has something to do with accounts. And I think it thinks it has already synched these items.
The other thing is I got a strange message about not having a default PC account (I think it was) when I tried to open one of the older messages on the Psion. Not knowing what to do I cancelled but I haven't had the message again.
I think I may have let an opportunity to intervene slipped through my fingers.
Any thoughts,

In the Synchronizer app, where you set up the email synchronization - did you set the Asdvanced properties to synchronize e-mails for longer than the default 5 days?
Properties -> General page.
Click Advanced.
Set the date range
