Okay, just bought 2 Philips Nino 300's on eBay. I already had one for 3 years but I cracked the screen. The problem is, I have gotten used to my HP Jornada 568 but that was killed by a lightning bolt (I have no luck). So, while I am saving to have my HP Jornada replaced, I want to use this Nino again. Can I upgrade to PocketPC or am I stuck with Windows CE 2.0?

Todd :D

You cannot upgrade the OS of the Nino 300. There are however some patches available (bugfixes).

btw ... struck by lightning?? You seem to be jinxed ;)

If you have the 4MB version (which I have). I guess over 1000 contacts, maybe more. The 8MB version can handle of course more.

Mind you, expanding the memory with compact flash cards won't enable you to store more contacts. These are stored in the onboard RAM only.
