Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Transfer Contacs from MAKO to Cassiopeia (PV-400 Plus)
Now that I have gone through a battery failure of my Mako (my 4th Mako having a similar problem...), and with the help of MikeMcC here (THNAK YOU MIKE !!!!), I managed to Soft-Reset my Mako and save the Contact list.
I do want to transfer all the Contact list from the Mako to my old (and reliable...!) Casiopeia PV-400 Plus.
One of the formats which the Casio will take is a file which has the data seperated by commas.
Any suggestions on how to do that (move the file from the Mako to the PV-400Plus) ?? - any available software known to anyone here ?
Thanks for the help !!!

Do you need advice on converting the Contacts file to CSV (comma separated values) format, or have you already created the CSV file?

I need an advise on the entire process of that conversion. Starting from which file is it and where is it. etc.
Appriciate any help you can provide.

MikeMcC has just refered me to the C2F program. I downloaded it from "tocows" and Unzipped it. There are 3 or 4 files + a note file.
All fine and dandy but.... what the "h..." is a c2f.sis file...?
I can't make it work by double cliking it (no association recognized).
Then the instruction says: "... if you don't already have contact.opx on your machine then install it from the supplied contact.sis...
These guys have tried to help... but they are talking to a guy who is not a hacker or a recent microsoft refugee....
I need some REAL directions in this regard.
Will appreciate any help.

Sorry, we may be at "cross purposes" here. The C2F application runs on the Psion so it is of no use to someone who needs to convert a backed up Contacts file when they no longer have their Psion / Mako.
If you can still use the Mako, a .SIS file is an EPOC Installation file. With EPOC Connect running, double clicking this should install the application in the Mako. You can also just copy the .SIS file to the Mako (without conversion) and run it there.
Contacts are in the "Contacts.cdb" file in the path C:\System\Data\Contacts.cdb
