My Revo Plus has a corruption in some of the files. I tried to delete them but they are reported as "in use". I want to reformat the whole memory as I have backed up all my data - but pressing Reset 1 - still leaves the files there, Reset 2 - doesnt work. Trying to format from PsiWin reports the same "files in use".
Thanks very much for anyone who can help me.

Hard reset by pressing both reset buttons at the same time and keep them pressed for about 15 seconds. Switch on by pressing [Esc] twice and the machine should beep once.

i don't beleive that the operating system can be earased. A hard reset restores the machine to its "out-of-the-box" state. The operating system is, as you say, in ROM and cannot be deleted.

Thanks to all
It worked successfully. The OS wasn't erased. It went back to the state it was in when I took it out of the box.
As a side, it tried rebooting with safety-pins but that didnt work, a paper-clip bent in the right way works best.
