I have a palm m105. It was working well before. Now the screen is not working properly. The tapping is not working. I tried a hard reset. still the same old story. Please help me to solve thîs problem.

Also I have another question. If the battery is finished , how can I restore the application and data ( for example emails) before the new battery is placed.

Have a nice day.

Yes, this is a forum for tungstens, at the same time though, I think your problem may be a faulty digitizer. The m1xx series is infamous for its bad digitizers, and unfortunatly, there's not much you can do to fix this. Three things:
1: Go to ********hightech.com, you could get another digitizer, however, I don't know that this would fix your problem.
2: Take your pda apart, chack all the connections and: Chack the main ribbon connecting the screen to the motherboard. I know these can often slide around on IIIc's and other models.
3: Check to see if you have a warrenty, any palm warrenty should cover such problems.

Other than that, you might consider getting a new palm. There's a whole new line of PDAs coming out, and if you don't want one of them, the older ones are about to get much cheaper.
I'm not sure what you mean in your battery question

Before taking palm apart, go to palmgear.com and search for digifix.

Hope that helps
