I spent a few hours on the phone last night with HP support. My 4150 was working GREAT connected to my home WiFi, and then stopped working.
After all was said and done, it turns out I had installed a program not completely compatible with PocketPC 2003. I believe that it was the Boingo utility (I was going to use it as a sniffer). I had deleted it when it didn't work, but the damage to the registry was already done.
I had to do a hard restart (and set up everything again -- ouch!!!). Now the Wifi is working again.
The Tech Support Guy told me that there are many, many programs out there screwing up the wireless system of the new Ipaqs, and I should make sure I only install those specifically for the PPC 2003 version.
He also had a GREAT suggestion -- I set up the Pocket PC as a "guest" and re-installed everything, and re-configured everything (including my email). I then did a backup... If in the future things go haywire, I have a "safe point" which will bring me back to a good point -- All I'll have to do restore, and then synch with Outlook, and I'm back in business.
He also told me that when the battery drops below 45% the Wireless systems can act up.
Too bad I can't find a decent WiFi sniffer that will work...
