I just bought a 505 and I love it! Now I need to get a hard case for it incase I drop it. I have researched the Net and I believe I like the Innopocket case the best. Does anyone know what stores sell the Innopocket case? I would like to have a hands on look before I buy.

I know lots of places that sell the Palm hardcase, but have not seen the Innopocket anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I have the InnoPocket on my 505 and it is super light. I have a Palm Hard Case on my 515 and it is not as light but it is much stronger, better latch, and very nice to hold. The front hinges around to the back of the unit so you can hold it easily in your hand (left or right handed) and it sets on a flat surface with very little sliding around. I have seen InnoPocket Case a CompUSA.

Earlier this year, we purchased several Innopocket aluminum cases for the m505 from ********hightech.com. We bought 2 in titanium finish and 3 in black finish. I just looked at their web site to make sure they are still selling them. Couldn't find the black one, but the titanium finish case is available for $20.00. Their service was good and delivery was prompt.

OldBlue,
I am curious about the durability of the Black case's surface treatment. I wanted to buy a Black case for my IBM C3 but my Titanium case has been showing a lot of ware. When Titanium wares off of aluminum, it does not look too bad.

DrMud,

My innopocket has the titanium finish. I've had the case for well over a year and use it daily. The finish has not worn off anywhere, although the very thin neoprene liner shows some compression at certain "pressure points." The black innopockets have been in use for about 6 months. I'd have to check with the other guys at work to see if any wear and tear is evident.

If you're interested, I can take some digital pix of our cases (there are 5 in use at my company) and email them to you next week. (I'm on vacation this week and could only send you a picture of my case.)
