I goofed. My media player is gone and I haven't been able to reload it from the Microsoft site.

What do I do now to play videos, music or view pictures?

Check the CD that came with the axim, I'm not totally sure but WMP may be on that CD. If you are looking for alternative 3rd party players, do a search on this site, there are many threads discussing them.

AnswerDude is correct you CD should have the loadable software.
You can also get a version at this link.
Select the version needed, If you have PPC 20002 or PPC/MM2003.
