I wish they had listed the mAH rating for it. I've been curious.

Good research! But I'm sure taking the iQue apart would void any warrenties, and $49 bucks is a little on the steep side. And I think for $150, garmin gives you a new screen and a new battery.

If your unit is still under warrenty then you would just send it back to garmin for replacement for free.

If it's not then the $150 garmin referb deal might be a better option depending on the condition of everything else.

Is this an equal replacement or an "upgrade" battery with more life to it. They don't say much so it is probably just an equivalent replacement. I don't like the looks of opening up the case and moving aside the motherboard. I've tried similar things with laptops, not always with good results.

I looks just like my Tungsten T battery. Same connector too.

Taking apart the iQue is fairly easy actually. Read this thread (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=28443&perpage=15&pagenumber=2) for details.

"Currently out of stock"

FWIW, it looks like it should be an IA2W...... From the link on taking apart the iQue it looks like the batteries have slightly different numbers- the last five digits are different between the picture, the one being sold and mine (okay, the last digit is the same)

I figure they're the same battery since everything else looks the same, now who makes it?

I believe these numbers are LOT number and DATE code, not the part numbers.

This battery (http://sales.goldmine-elec.com/prodinfo.asp?prodid=8792) could be a direct replacement of original battery, only different is that protection PCB's location, same size, same or less ma/h. (I guess original battery is between 750 to 900 ma/h).

Does anybody know where I can buy a replacement battery to my 3 year old iQue 3600? For fast shipment to Sweden.

Thanks Info,
Hmm S/H Fedex to Sweden $63 for the $29 iQue battery. Must be a cheaper way to get it here. I do have a spare iQue so I could wait a couple of weeks
