Viewing pictures

When I view 3 MPixel images from my digital camera on my Axim, they look dreadful, even when I shrink them down first.

Has anybody got a way of improving picture display quality?

What viewer are you using? Perhaps an advanced viewer would help you. I am using digivue and the pictures look pretty good.
