I'm looking for a replacement for the address book. Something simple, in color, and not expensive. I'd like one that would allow me to select a name quickly without using a magnifying glass! What's everyone using?

Easily keeps track of contacts and date/todo history. I think it's either $19.95 or $24.95. But w/e it is, it's worth it. I use it all the time. It's stable and works wonders. If you don't mind paying a little extra, you could also try Datek5 from Pimlico Software. It's in the $20^ range, but I don't like it as well. That's my 2 cents. Good luck. johnny_quest 10-12-2002, 12:40 PM mhamann; Thank you for input. I use DateBk5 which is great, but I wanted something a little more than the default address book. I find this forum frustrating at times - 100 view and only one response. Maybe nobody liked watching Johnny Quest!!! Anyway, I really do enjoy this forum - lots of good ideas and advise. djmangen 10-12-2002, 04:14 PM Perhaps a product called DateMan would meet some of your needs. PDASROCK 10-13-2002, 12:18 PM I think I have the program for you: "Notap".Basically it lets you press the address book button, and gives a you a choice: date for a-g, phone for h-m, checklist for n-t etc. It also has some datebook functions Go ahead and give it a try, it's freeware(I hope Chris doesn't mind this...). DrMud 10-13-2002, 01:35 PM TealPhone is an interesting app. It may help with the visuals. You can have on the name shown in Bold without the phone number so there is plenty of room for the name. I like it. One reservation I have: I have 3,700 (plus) names and addresses on my Palm and Tealphone re-sorts the entire list every so often. It takes forever on my Palm and it always seems to want to re-sort when I need a number in a hurry. I suppose it is God's way of saying it is not all that important for me to find the number since I have his. Take a demo look at TealPhone. DrMud PDA Street
