Does anyone know if there's a possibilty to use the ux50 as a TV remote for example? (I mean with the infrared ability) I know this feature does exist in the iCompaq.

Sony changed the processor in the UX series, so the Sony remote controller as shipped with the TG50, for example, can't work with the UX and Sony doesn't plan to do anything about that. OmniRemote also has said that their stuff isn't able to work right now with the UX, but they're working on it.
