OK, I am a complete novice to this, but I need to get my MSN mail onto my PDA. I have outlook express, but am having no luck trying to get it to access my msn account. I don't understand any of this POP3, SMPT stuff. Please belittle me, call me an idiot, make fun of me, berate, besmirch, laugh at, point at me, whatever you need to do because I'm so stupid, but PLEASE, for the love of Sony, spell it out for me. I need help. Thanks

yes, I've read the other threads on this site, but, as I said... I don't understand any of it.

There were several threads on this board regarding downloading from a hotmail account via the PDA. The main consensus I believe was that it was not possible.

From what I know, POP3 email is the kind you download onto your PC (e.g. using Outlook Express or similar). Some of the free providers will let you use a POP3 email client like Outlook Express to download your mail. Yahoo used to do it free but now charges about $30 per year - not a bad price.

You should contact MSN and ask them (or check the FAQs) how to set up Outlook Express to access your email - like I said, this may be a subscription service you'll have to pay for. Is this MSN email or MSN Hotmail? I'm not sure if these are two different things...
