I don't know why I can't connect both my Casio EM-500 and IPAQ 3630 to my Fujitsu Laptop
WHen I try to connect my Casio, a popup saying "the USB is not recognized"
and for the case of IPAQ, I can just connect it to the laptop successfully for a few times. Sometimes a message from Microsoft Activesync saying "device not recognized" appears
Even if I can connect the IPAW successfully, it will get disconnected automatically in a few minutes' time. It's really annoying indeed.
Hope you folks can help me figure it out.

It sounds like you are using two different types of USB connections, one for the iPAQ and the other for the Casio. What operating system is running on the laptop? How many USB ports are there? You might have to reboot when you want to change from one USB connector to the other.

If you have two USB ports, always connecting a USB connect to the same port (iPAQ #1, Casio #2) might help the OS keep track of what is connected to it.

My laptop is a Fujitsu model running office XP home--chinese and has 4 USB ports
I bought the laptop just recently and at first, I could connect my casio to it, but i'm not sure when connection started to become unsuccessful every time.
It says the USB connection is recognized

Now I can connect my IPAQ to the laptop
but there are still times when connection is not successful
