are there any kind of Translator for using S3a apps in and old s3?

I am not aware of any way to implement backwards compatibility to use 3a applications in an original S3.

Yes. An old S3 I have dismantled today because it was a German unit. I have interchanged the "y" and "z" keys and the + - * / keys because after loading the english language those keys dindnt match with the right symbols. I have seen an "almost" broken wire too. So, I will solder it tomorrow when I buy a solder ( I never have done before, but I am not shy ;) )

The only application I'm aware of is John Boyce's CvtAgn which will convert an S3a Agenda file back to S3 format. It can be found at http://www.compulink.co.uk/~jbsoft/Info.htm#CvtAgn .

Looking at John's pages again really bought back some nostalgia. He was such a great programmer on the SIBO platform. JBData was brilliant and has features that still aren't available in EPOC data. He also had a wonderfully dry British sense of humor. I miss him. :(

.... I miss him.Yes, indeed. John really was one of the greatest members of the Psion community. He also got me sorted out on more than one occasion when I totally messed up my PC ;)

Dennis did post a couple of messages here, but it was a while ago now.
