Any chance of the CE.NET software coming to netBook (non-pro)? On Psion's website, the say that CF wLAN cards are now supported, and I'm beginning to think that my PCMCIA slot is broken completely. (visit the ethernet board for my problem) Although I'd have to tear out the little sliding piece that the CF cards slide in and out on, If I can plug the CF card in, and I have the CE.NET OS, anyone think I would be able to get wLAN connection? Anyone have any clue of where to get CE.NET? Any clue on how to load it onto the netBook? I'm a little bit more familiar with the programming and working of CE, so it appeals to me. But then again Symbian OS is really good....

Thanks!

Wirebook,

I doubt it. When PT put CE.Net on the NetPad they doubled the ROM!

Also, I doubt anyone has written a boot loader. However, you could try if you want! You would need to get the Rom Image though. Just a thought, how old is your NetBook - Earlier netbooks supported lower current to the PC card slot. That means that some high power cards may not work.

I don't honestly know how old it is. I didn't even buy it... I got it. I do know that the RAM in my netBook has been upgraded (perhaps the previous owner put it in). The box that it came in was pretty dinged up, so my guess is it's a bit on the old side. Thanks for your suggestion, I'll look into finding out the date.

Thanks!
