Help ! 'System' not working !

Has anybody encountered the following with their REvo ?
My System 'button' has stopped working. I tap on it and the screen is just blank. All the other Apps work but I can no longer Sync as I can access the menu bar on the system screen !

Any ideas gratefuly received. I'm not paying another £75 to have it repaired, that's for sure.

Have you tried a soft reset yet? You may also try Ctrl-Fn-Shift-K with the system app in the foreground (ie, the blank, unresponsive screen showing) to kill the system app to see if it resets itself.

doogald's suggestions are worth a try.

have you tried navigating to the system screen by going through the "open files" button that is displayed in a program's toolbar? Do you have any other programs open that are set up to respond to the tap of the system button? Merlin could theoretically occupy this and can become confused, etc.

havent't had this problem but i would agree. do a soft reset first then try a hard reset if absolutely nothing works (after backing up the data of course) and try reinstalling everything. it could also be a shot switch.
