I just bought a 1945 on ebay, and I think something may be wrong... what programs are supposed to be preinstalled on the device? I only have very few programs on it... i thought PocketPC OS was supposed to come with more.

Also, besides that, how can I use my device to get text messages off of my cellphone? I owned a UX50 (sony palm pda) with bluetooth and it could recive and send ttext messages through my phone. I paired my phone and the ipaq, but I dont know what i'm supposed to do next to recieve messeges and stuff...

Thanks all!

you should have word, excel, a few games, outlook, and a few others. You may jsut not be able to find all the shorcuts. I would recomend doing a hard reset to return it to factory state befor you use it.

Due to the price of the 1945, additional software was not included. A CD was included with the unit and has Acrobat Reader for the PDA, Media Player 9, and a few utilities, all which you can download for free on the net. I purchased my 1945 new from Sam's club for $250.00.

As far as the Bluetooth, I haven't had a chance to use it due to the fact that I have a dinosaur for a cell phone and I don't have a USB dongle for my desktop.

Terminal client is not included with WM2003 Professional (1930, 1940, 1945, etc), it is included with WM2003 Premium (2215, 44xx, etc).
