Hi to all...I have a 1910 that I have had for nearly a year now with no trouble, now all of a sudden It dies all the time. (dead battery) I have poured thru the settings to keep power consumption low. But it seems that it stays on after an event reminder. I don't recall this ever happening till the last few weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

This has been asked repeatedly lol ;p
Sorry, do a hard reset (after backup of course)
See if the device still spazes. (turns on for no apperent reason)
It may be your programs but there are ways of getting around this.
1. Go to Media player and make a buton activate screen toggle, then go to power options to turn off the autoturn off after x number of minutes on batt power.
2. Use media player to turn off your screen.

Can you charge up the battery? If you don't use the Ipaq 1910, does it keep the charge? If it does, it might have the same problem my Ipaq 1910 had! Each time I charged the 1910 battery and gave the unit to my wife, it died within a day or even minutes! It died and lost the data if she gently bumped the unit or sometimes touched it wrong!!! Well, after much anquish, I found the problem! You will notice that the unit will not power up with the battery cover off. With the unit facing down, you will notice that the battery cover snaps on and simultaniously pushes a switch located in the upper right area where the cover snaps on. I carfully sprayed a small amount of tuner cleaner on that switch and now I can tap, bump, drop and abuse the unit like a football and it won't turn off causing data loss!!!!!! I hope my find will help someone else out there!!!!!
