I just purchased two new axiom x3i handelds for my wife and I. I have been a palm/handspring user in the past, but I am catching on to the pocket pc thing. I have a couple questions for you long-time users.
1. Can anyone recommend a quality gradebook program for desktop and pocket pc. My wife is a teacher and currently uses a gradebook program on our desktop. It needs to be able to print individual and class grades. Run up to date weighted averages ect.

2. I know that WiFi's primary purpose is to connect to hotspots and local networks (such as office, printer, internet, ect.) but is it possible to transmit information between two handhelds via WiFi rather than infered? Example: transmit a word document or an excel spreadsheet. I know that you can do this via bluetooth.

just purchased one of these myself and i have to say, i'm amazed by this thing. it doesn't feel like anything in my hand. it's very light and the screen is so crisp. it's a big jump from my jornada.

my question is about the backup battery to this thing. i don't see one but it keeps telling me that it's low. where is it located if at all?

thanks

it's an internal rechargable lithium grade back up battery.

just put it in the cradle for a while and it'll get pumped up :D
