Downloading Files

I've connected the PDA (sitting in the cradle) and have gone to Windows Media Player (Ver. 71) to copy audio files. When Player is opened to Audio Device, the PDA isn't recognized; connection are definately in tack. Help! I've gone to Tools; Options and nothing seems to work. Does something specifically have to be selected on the PDA itself? Please advise.

Update your Windows media player to 8.0
(9.0 has to many security features that can stop you from rippin cds off)
