i believe it is one of the programs that i recently installed. i tried uninstalling a few programs no luck though. What happened is after i install some program, i checked the settings and where it has the password incon... there were two. so i though this is funny, so i louded the first one and its the one that came with the pda, but the second program/setting file was different. When the second was loaded it goes into the pin screen resembling the regular one, BUT i had by default an alphanumeric password/finger print scan (ipaq5450, cool little thing i must say) startup option in the first one (the original password settings program) and i tried to enter the pin but no luck it wouldnt let me in, but i just had to kinda close the program and it was fine. so i played with the thing and went into the first pass program and changed the option to a pin pass, set a pin and close it, then load the mystery pass prog and again it asks for the pin i put in the one i just set and it worked... although i didnt want it to start up. then i go back to the first passprog, and change the settings back to alphanumeric, and then in the middle of the day i soft reset the pda and it then went into the pin screen, i tried entering the pin from b4 but nothing works. The active sync works and i can browse the ipaq from my computers, i need some help/suggestions as to how i would see which programs are starting up so i can stop t from starting. or do something about it because i really dont want to hard reset the thing...

I bieleve your talking about "Onetouch pass" (Your visuall alternative?) It doesnt really matter the following will help you anyway.

Some programs want to replace the current password, I suggest doing a manual back up and doing a hard reset. Then putting the files back in.

If you want the program to stop starting in the first place, explore the device on your computer. Go to device, then windows, then start up. There should be the following items there: Bio detect (finger swiper) Blue tooth trsy ce (if your device comes with bluetooth), DM_K (I have no idea lol) PIM agent (Personal info manager agent), and Poutlook (Again no idea lol) cut and paste any suspicious icons to your home computer and soft reset your device.

If you can get to your device without the second password deally then unintall the bad program.

Hope this helps.
