HI
I've been thinking about getting a PDA for my birthday, preferably with bluetooth. I use a broadband router to broadcast signals for my home network so i can use my laptop (with reciever) anywhere at home. I was wondering if having bluetooth on a PDA would enable it to function like a broadband reciever to access internet without haveing to physically connect the PDA to some sort of connection. If this works, it would be a great convenience.

If you have XP or win server 2003 with bluetooh dongle then you can do it through Internet Connection Sharing or bridging the network. Here's a guide;

If your broadband router does not have bluetooth capability, then no you cannot.

For about $120, you can buy a Bluetooth Access Point. I've been considering purchasing one to use with my iPAQ 1945.
