power off

I thought I'd pick your brains on the need to 'power off' the mobilepro 780. Am I actually doing anything more than just turning off the screen? Does it make any difference whether I power off or just close the screen and use the 'fridge door light' button which shuts the screen off?

Inquiring minds want to know!

cause it's the same thing as powering off...makes no difference.
