I'm not sure where you see that, I see

IPAQ Pocket PC H3800 Series
• Language Availability
• English Shipping

If you follow this link on that page,
http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/sbso/exit.cgi?goto=bstore/special_ppc_upgrade/computing/handhelds
it shows that 3800 series update is available for $29.95. I've heard of people who already gotten and performed the upgrade for 3800 series.

In the original URL you posted, after "Ordering Update" Caption, its right after the first paragraph.

I'm running PocketPC 2003 on my 3835, but I did not obtain it through this method as it wasnt even known existant to me.

I see, that is a "free" upgrade program, HP and other pocketpc makers only provide free upgrade for people who puchased their pocketpc with older os within a few months of new os release. 3800 is a few years old.
