Where do the Contacts and Calendar files reside in the Pocket PC file system? I want to make a duplicate before trying out synching configurations with Macs and PCs. Sometimes I just want to wipe it out, too.

You'll find the appointments and contacts files in there. I would suggest backing up the data using something like the in-built backup program as you can target the databases themselve, or if you haven't got that it's worth looking at a 3rd party tool such as Backup Manager (http://www.sunnysoft.cz/en_clanek.php?clanekid=51) Regards Simon Dave Fenwick 11-24-2003, 03:28 PM Thanks for the suggestion, Simon. I've used ActiveSync and looked everywhere in every folder for one called "database" or "databases," but I haven't found anything resembling it. There's a folder called "Application Data" with another folder called "Volatile" in it, but it's empty. My iPaq is a 4155 with PPC ver. 4.20.1081. -Dave PDA Street
