Possible to disable "Quick Keys" ?

Don't know if I am referring to them correctly, but the 4 buttons at the bottom of the screen for Calendder, Phone Book, To Do and Notes........Is it possible to disable them so that you cannot turn the Clie on using those buttons, and have to use the main power button at the top? My Clie keeps getting powered on when I put it in my pocket, and it being the SL10 model, I would rather conserve my batteries.
