Please help - PalmV - dead & won't charge

Please help if you can.

I have a PalmV which is now completely dead, on the charger the light is on and looks like it's charging.

The last time it was working I went to switch it on and it stayed on for about 2sec when the palm logo came on for a split second and then died.. It did this for a handful of times after doing a cold reset and a soft reset until finally it just won't respond anymore.

I have not backed up any of my files either.

Can anyone help please ?? thanks a lot!

I hope by now you have found resolution to you Palm problem. Sorry taht you were not taken care of in a timely fashion.

If as you describe the battery has died then your data has been lost. YOu probably know all of this . The battery can be replaced and the Palm made to function like new. If you desire repair I strongley recommend you contact Chris Short for an estimate on the cost. Chis is at ips@chartermi.net.
