my computer not syncing...help please

i just got a new computer

i installed activesync and i connected my PDA to my cradle and it connected and synced.....

however after that day i would put my axim in the cradle and the PDA icon shows up in My Computer...so im sure there is nothign wrong with the connection

however the activesync icon stays grey and doesnt turn on? whats wrong??

could it be something wrong with the profiles? is there any way to fix this?

just to add something....

i have found out that my axim cant get connected....
i just uninstalled 3.5 and downloaded 3.7 thinking that was the problem

however after installing 3.7, it goes to the "get connected" screen

it says that usb is availible, but it doesnt detect my axim
but like i said b4, under my computer, i see my PDA icon

whats going on?

Hey...

Is your USB plugged into a Hub.. Had a bear of a time with mine untill i went direct to the pc ( bypassing the usb hub) if this is the case, try going direct
