getting error "Cannot find 'repllog' (or one of its components).

Need help understanding why I'm am getting the following error on my:

iPaq 3765 Pocket PC
Microsoft Pocket PC
Version 3.0.11171 (Build 11178)

When I click on ActiveSync I get the following Dialog Box:

repllog.exe ----- in blue banner (X)

Cannot find 'repllog' (or one of its components).
Make sure the path and filename are correct and all the
required libraries are available.

I've been all over the net and even in my MSDN pocket pc dev kit and am unable to find such a file.

Any helpful pointers are very welcome.

I've found entries for repllog in the desktop registry (most notably

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services\SpecialNames\repplog.exe = Application,C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\minshell.dll,-2024

as well as objects in the iPAQ\Windows directory (repllog.lnk, repllog.exe and repllog.Up). Did you lose files in the device \Windows directory?

Sorry I took so long to respond. repllog.exe is installed in ROM and cannot be copied (or deleted). You probably need to recreate the registry entry after verifying that repllog.exe still exists -- you should use a file explorer that will allow you to view hidden files.
