Since the m125 has AAA batteries, has palm ever come out with an AC adpater for it? I know that probably no one knows if they have or not but my teacher says they might because you would need to charge it.
Anybody got anything for me?
I found a page that has an AC adapter for the PALM modem and I printed that out to show her...

No AC adapters for the m125. Best you can do is get some NiMH batteries for it, if you don't want to keep throwing batteries away.

if i were to get th NiMH batteries, how would put them into the battery bay? Since it is formatted for the AAA? would I do some major modifications or send it to palm to do it for me?
Thanks a bunch,

You would get AAA NiMH and a charger. You can find them at Fry's and Radio Shack, etc. There is also an online place that sells them much cheaper - sorry I forget their name, check Google.
Since the m125 needs 2, you should get 4 so that you can swap in a fully charged pair when the first pair runs out.

That item is Palm's AC adapter. Does that mean it will charge AAA NiMH in the m125? Are the NiMH included in the package?

It say's it can charge the PDA. I doubt that it includes the batteries, you would need to contact Palm Technical support for those answers. http://www.palm.com/support/

This is the response I recieved from Palm reguarding that question:
Please note that the Palm m125 handheld is non rechargable. you
do not get an AC adapter with the Palm m125 handheld as it is a non rechargable Palm handheld. I regret to inform you that you cannot charge NIMh batteries on your Palm handheld. Please note that NiMh batteries can be used with your Palm m125 handheld but the batteries cannot be charged.

thanks to a website in the UK, they have a m125 charger that you can use. I knew there was one, just not sure if it would work.
There is your proof that a company makes an ac adapter for the Palm m125.

It still does not guarantee that it will charge NiMH batteries that are put in the battery compartment. (see Clydeml above)
