If your really daring... like me, You can remove it by unscrewing the back and ripin the bugger out then connecting the two lil wires where it used to be. But I wouldnt recomend this, (voids the warrenty)

Two options spring to mind:
1. cover the perspex with insulation tape
2. Use a RED magic marker on the perspex. This will absorb nearly all the blue light, and be less aesthetically challenged than option 1.

Both of these should leave your warranty intact.

Personally I find the light a useful indication that I have/haven't got a good wireless connection. I do question the intensity, which seems a poor use of battery life.

Has anyone thought of software control ?
