M130 Beaming Problem

Ok, here is the problem I have. I have a Palm M130, and a friend of mine got the same one. We are having trouble beaming info to each other. The Palms are not even acting like they are connecting when we try to beam. In the preferences, Beam Receiving is “on.” Now I thought there might be a problem with the ports or something, but I also have an old Palm IIIe. With my palm and with his Palm we tried to beam to the Palm IIIe and it worked. So I can send stuff to the old Palm, but not to my friends Palm M130. Any idea what could cause that? If you have any overclocking utilities such as FastCPU they will impeed the beaming. If not try doing a soft reset on your Palm. Simply use a straightened paper clip, your stylus reset tool or a tooth pick to push the reset button (tiny hole) on the back of your Palm.
