I have a psion 3a and a Mac running system 10.2, i just found this software called, Trafic S5, on versiontracker and was wondering if anyone has tried it, did they like it, etc. what are the problems? where does my data show up? Address? calender events? etc? In Ical?
if it does work i'm ready to dust off my old psion (the best PDA i've owned) and give another try. Anyone know how i link the Psion to my Mac? is there a USB link? Where would i get one?
Thanks,

Lloyd

Hello Lloyd,

Traffic S5 is pointing to the Series 5 range and not the series 3. So I don't think this will work ...

BUT ...

There is a kind of PsiWin for Mac and series 3 names PsiMac.
The connection for a series 5 (mx) is called MacConnect. So you have to try to get a copy of PsiMac

Hello Lloyd,
I have a copy of Psion Link for Mac on floppies, which requires a special cable, Psion 3 Link RS232, which can be used on older Macs with an Appletalk port. Psion Link for Mac is not very user friendly and will of course only run in Classic mode. If you have Microsoft Office OS9 on your Mac you may be able to transfer and use your files. To my knowledge there is no way of getting data from a Series 3 via USB.
