Hey all, I just switched from a Zire 71 to a Tungsten E. I had a great case from InnoPocket which allowed full usability while inside the case - it had cut-outs for the stylus, universal connector, SD slot, camera and headphone jack.
I looked on the InnoPocket site, and their case for the T|E isn't out yet. Besides, the clips that hold the Palm in scratch up the back. Are there any other good hard cases out there? I know about the Palm brand one, but there's no cut-outs for the SD card and headphone jack, which I frequently use.
Any suggestions will be great, but I would prefer one that uses the flipcover rail slot to attach the Palm to the case.

Do checkout Innopocket again, they've finally released one for the T|E!

Thanks.... I didn't notice that. It's still not actually out yet, though. "Ship date: Early Dec."
I will probably get that one if it uses the flip cover rail slot to attach to the Palm.... I just hope it doesn't use the metal clips like the Zire 71 one. They really need a better description and more pictures.
Any other cases?

FWIW, I'm using the palm case and while it doesn't have cut outs, it doesn't ad too much bulk. On the positive side, it just protected the TlE from a chest high drop to a tile floor!
The innopocket case looks like the M500 series cases.
Hi. This is my first post here. I bought my T|E last Feb and also an original Palm hard case the same day.
Well, less than three months later, the latch broke. Has anyone had any problem with their's?
I'm getting an innopocket in a few days.

I've read where several people on other T/E forums complained about the latch on the Palm hard case. I have the Innopocket hard case and love it! The latch is just as great now as when I bought the case. The case has all the cutouts except for the reset button. I don't use the belt clip and just unscrewed the screw on the back. I'm sure you'll enjoy your case when it comes!

My latch also broke after about 4 months of use.....However, large amounts of Superglue have managed to restore its usability....

The bottom latch on my case broke first after about 2 months of "normal-never-been-dropped" use. Superglue did fixed it, but about a month later, the upper latch was also starting to crack.
I bought the Innopocket hardcase just the other day and I'm totally impressed with the workmanship and functionality. The only thing I missed is my old case's ability to flip its cover back a full 360 degrees. But that's about it.
IMO, Palmone should've never marketted this POC in the first place. Somebody in R&D and Quality Control isn't doing their homework.

I also had the Palm Hard Case (part of a promotion) and the metal pieces that hold the "arm" in place broke. I am also on the lookout for a good case...
