Have had problems using Word to Go, first with my Sony Clie, and now with my Tungsten E, just bought last week. With both units, experienced extreme frustration when I lost files (not only the one I was working on, about 70K size, no tables or graphics or anything fancy - just text), but also everything else on the PDA, requiring sync and restoring from backup.
I'm reluctant to use Word to Go because I can't trust it, but would like to use it .... other option is to create many Memos, then string them all together later. (I spend hours each day commuting on bus and train, so do a considerable amount of letter writing).
I can't imagine that Word to Go can't handle a 70K file containing text only ....
I know software developers warn against using other software, games, etc.,. but it's ridiculous to expect that a user will not want to use a variety of applications on a PDA. Are these things so darn unstable or poorly programmed and developed, or am I just straining the poor thing with my verbosity and vexed vernacular??
